Art has been in the golf industry for over twenty years. Winner of the 2007 PGA Metropolitan Chapter, Golf Professional of the Year ,and 2008 recipient of the distinguished Bill Strausbaugh Award. Art was a member of the Metropolitan Chapter Board of Directors in 2006, and has mentored many Class A PGA Golf Professionals. Art possess a positive, energetic and caring attitude that enhances any learning experience whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran. Bill Hulbert has over 30 years of teaching experience and he was selected by Golf Digest Magazine as one of the "Top 40 California Instructors" in 2000. Before coming to Green River he was the Master Instructor at Black Gold Golf Club for 8 years. During that time he also served on the ESPN Golf School instruction staff.
Bill is a Past President of the Southern California PGA, a member of their Board of Directors, and chairman of the Teaching committee. He has been recognized as the Section's "Golf Professional of the Year", a two time "Horton Smith Award " winner, a "Bill Starausbaugh Award" recipient, and is an Honorary Life Member of the SCPGA.
Bill's playing background and extensive teaching experience serve him well as an instructor. His ability to analyze your swing, explain cause and effect, and develop a plan will start you on the path to improvement. "You can and should get better after taking a lesson! I will help you understand why the ball does what it does, what the club is doing, and how to fix the problem. "
